  • A nice bedtime story

In every relationship I have come across, there are certain roles everyone plays to the other... like,                    The Matchmaker, The Lover, The Enemy, and the best one ever, The Friend.

Now, the role of the friend has many sub-roles, such as The Therapist, The Comforter, and sometimes even The Provider. which should be the sub-role of The Lover but when The Lover fails at that then The Friend is forced to take on another sub-role.

Why am I ranting about this, you may ask... well I have constantly been SHOVED into the role of The Friend. I am sick and tired of anyone that I ever am attracted to in any way shape or form automatically putting me in that role without letting me try to be The Lover, I am always The Friend. It never changes, and now with this new person, Let's Call Him Dooby,

The day I met Dooby, he had lost his job, been kicked out of his apartment, and gotten dumped all in the same day. I thought to myself, "hm, what can I do to help Dooby?" I got him a job at Jimmy John's and invited him to my family's Thanksgiving. We went to Thanksgiving at my family's house and then we went to Thanksgiving at his family's house, and finally on the way home, I asked him out on a date, "All I am looking for is friends right now,"

three more weeks went by, by that time we had been "friends" for about 3 months, and he still was being Dooby. One nite, he went to a party, got smashed, and woke up the next morning next to a stranger, he looked on the floor and saw that there were like 4 used condoms on the floor. he wakes this guy up, introduces himself, and the next day, they decide to Go Out With Each Other.

I wanna know what you think will happen to this relationship before I give you part 2 of the story... so  lemme know.

Ok, so it has been awhile since I last reported on the whole "issue". I still haven't told him because I don't know what he is gonna say about it. but I have been there for him and checking up, seeing how things are going with him and the girl. (everytime I type "the girl" I feel like pam!) I really want to be with him, but he needs to come to terms with his feelings. I will be there no matter how much it kills me to see him with her. They are both in High School Musical together but I had a little chuckle because he got an actual role and she got chorus. I dont really think that she is principle material, you know? like I was made to just sing, and dance, and say a line or two, until SLT does Hairspray, Then I will have a lead.

speaking of which, I am most likely going to move down to Springfield within the next few months! I am ready to be back home! I just want to be able to see my friends everyday and take pam and Julia out to lunch for our adult time. and be back in a theatre where people actually care about you. I think what Stephanie Judkins said at frannies is the exact truth, this theatre is soo different from other theatres because it has heart. and it is that heart that brings everyone back. to me it was a place I could escape to when things weren't going right.

I love my friends! Pam is the most amazing person in the history of amazing people. I have been freaking out about this guy thing and Pam has been there helping me, giving me little anicdotes (spelling?) and making me laugh with how true the things she says is! I love her and I am soo glad that I was able to meet her and learn soooo much from her. (she taught me how to do stage makeup!) She has helped me deal with soo much drama within the theatre! she helped me through my "Josh" phase. and now she is keeping me from going insane about this guy. Pam, If I had a frannie to give out for backbone of the theatre, you would probably get it every single year!!! I am soo glad that you have taken me under your wing and taught me that, (I cant believe I am saying this cuz it is sooo corny) a person's a person, no matter how small. (or fat and trapped in our case!) I dont know what I would have done if I wouldnt have had you to help me. Thank you sooo much! you have moved up to the top of my tony speech!

    AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH

HE IS GOING OUT WITH HER!!!!!!!! and he says things are alot better between them! I love the girl he is going out with and all but SHE BROKE UP WITH HER PREVIOUS BOYFRIEND AT THE DROP OF A HAT JUST TO GO OUT WITH HIM! I just know she will do the same thing to him. I dont want to see him get hurt by her again. But Pam's mom says, "there is a lid to every pot." and apparently my "lid" is somewhere looking for me. (why I had to be the pot I dont know! jk) I hate when your heart thinks you can have any person you want and your brain knows that you can't, the brain trys to tell this to the heart, but the heart never listens. damn heart. why dont you listen to the brain for like once in my life.
